Emlid Flow

It works brilliantly. I tested all the EPSG codes I need nationally, and it also allows you to download a 2Mb height set with a custom vertical EPSG. I used NTRIP and got a fix immediately. I switched completely from our other gear, as this is much faster. I can actually argue that I spend less than half the time surveying now.

We were commissioned to accurately map terrain and identify elevation variations critical for development planning on two different projects. Using Emlid Flow, about 70% of the data processing was done on-site, reducing the office workload. This efficiency lets us focus on final touches and thorough QA/QC checks, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the data for our clients.

The Insomniac team staked out over 4000 CAD points for musical show assets like stages, tents, and restrooms. During the stakeout, the team discovered unmarked venue assets like fire hydrants and utilities. Emlid Flow 360 allowed on-the-fly plan updates. As surveyors found new assets with Reach, office teams imported points into AutoCAD to instantly update the venue base plan.

It was a project without milestones between the parcels, which caused confusion over land ownership. Using Emlid Flow's WMS tool, we added the cadastral map layer to view the site's situation in real-time with the owners. We also used the Inverse tool to show the real dimensions measured on-site. This helped prevent conflict between neighbors and demarcated the plot according to the deed and measurements.

It's a fully native iOS or Android app. That means that you can view and export your survey points from your phone even after you disconnect from your receiver!
