Now we’re looking for a new Product Designer to join our team.

Our product design team works on the company’s apps: Emlid Flow, Emlid Flow 360, and Reach Firmware Flash Tool. We also design how people interact with Emlid GNSS receivers, from professional surveyors to construction crews.

Our clients value our products for great design and ease of use. In our industry, a good interface is rare, as it requires designers to have a deep understanding of both customers’ needs and GNSS technology. That’s why product designers at Emlid dive into construction and land surveying to directly shape how our products solve real field and office tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a user advocate within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate to find solutions that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints;
  • Conduct user interviews and competitor analysis, dive into users’ workflows and the technical details to find the best solutions for our products;
  • Validate ideas with interactive prototypes yourself or in collaboration with developers, and present them to the team;
  • Prepare detailed mockups, ensure usability through testing, and work closely with developers to bring solutions to release;
  • Test products, gather user feedback, and use analytics to identify areas for improvement and communicate actionable insights to the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer;
  • Portfolio showcasing mobile and web apps;
  • Experience designing technically complex products or a strong desire to grow in this field;
  • Knowledge of mobile guidelines and web design principles;
  • Proficiency with Figma;
  • Experience using AI for fast prototyping;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Your advantage would be:

  • Experience with programming or a degree in a technical area.
