Now we’re looking for a new Product Designer to join our team in Budapest.
Our product design team works on the company’s apps: Emlid Flow, Emlid Flow 360, Emlid Studio, Emlid Caster, and Flasher. We also work with physical devices to improve user interaction with GPS receivers.
Our clients value our products for great design and ease of use. In our industry, a good interface is rare, as it requires designers to have a deep understanding of both customers’ needs and GPS technology. That’s why product designers at Emlid learn about geodesy and land surveying to directly impact how we solve users’ tasks.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a user advocate within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate to find solutions that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Create interactive prototypes and detailed mockups in Figma, ensure usability through testing, and present your ideas to the team.
- Conduct competitors analysis and user interviews, and dive into the technical details to find the best solutions for our products.
- Test products to ensure they meet user needs, identify areas for improvement, and communicate actionable feedback to the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of in-house experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer.
- Portfolio showcasing mobile and web apps.
- Experience designing technically complex products or a strong desire to grow in this field.
- Knowledge of mobile guidelines and web design principles.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.
- Proficiency with Figma.
