Now we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to our office in Budapest.

About the position

The Hardware team consists of a Design Engineer, an Industrial Designer and two Electronics Engineers. We send drawings and manuals to the manufacturing facility in China that we partner with, where all devices are being made and assembled.

Our devices are a set of printed circuit boards in a plastic case. The main task of the Mechanical Engineer is to design individual assemblies and parts of the devices, accessories and test stands for the production line using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD. Mainly these products are:

  • plastic injection molded housings and parts;
  • adapters (turning, milling);
  • gaskets;
  • lodgments (injection molded or laser cut from EVA foam);
  • test stands for testing PCBs in production.

In addition, it is required to prepare design documentation for manufacturing and assembly to ISO standards. An equally important task is writing assembly and test manuals for devices, including textual descriptions of operations and showcases.

One of the tasks is to communicate with the contract manufacturer on a specific project and coordinate technical details. Communication could be written and verbal, in English.

What it takes:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 or other CAD software.
  • Knowledge of basic processes of manufacturing parts (metal, plastic).
  • Skills of design documentation.
  • Knowledge of English at the Intermediate level and above.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in developing injection molded plastic parts.
  • Experience writing assembly manuals.
  • Experience with 3D printers.
