We develop both hardware and software ourselves, and constantly communicate with our users to gather feedback that inspires us to enhance our products.<\/p>\n<p>Our team is united by a shared interest in research, deep engagement in tasks, and a collective drive for excellence \u2014 and we welcome those who share our values and approach to work.<\/p>\n<p>Now we\u2019re looking for a new <b>Senior Technical Writer<\/b> to join our team.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop deep, hands-on knowledge of our products and the technologies behind them (Git, RTK, PPK, GNSS, mapping, construction) by using the products directly and keeping up as they evolve.<\/li>\n<li>Own the technical documentation end-to-end: planning, writing, and publishing new content in English, and continuously improving what already exists.<\/li>\n<li>Define and maintain documentation standards for style, structure, and tone, and review the team&#8217;s work to ensure consistent quality.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and improve the documentation portal, and work to grow its traffic and usefulness to readers.<\/li>\n<li>Own the documentation roadmap and plan the team&#8217;s work so that documentation for new features ships on time and in sync with each product release.<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a small technical writing team, contributing to shared standards and mentoring a junior writer through reviews and day-to-day guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Localization Manager to support cross-language localization of our documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Software Development, Support, and Marketing teams to keep documentation accurate and aligned with product changes, including supporting Marketing with technical blog articles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written English (C1 \/ Advanced or above).<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience writing technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a team of writers.<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in analyzing and structuring information.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in planning and managing documentation work across multiple releases.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with a docs-as-code approach (e.g. Markdown\/AsciiDoc, Git, pull-request reviews, static site generators, CI\/CD for docs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice to have:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Linux.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working alongside software or engineering teams.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of web development basics.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with GNSS, surveying, GIS, or other geospatial tools.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a docs-as-code workflow or documentation-portal platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What we offer:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Time off<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 20 days off per year, plus 5 public holidays per year.<\/li>\n<li><b>Sick leave<\/b> \u2014 up to 10 days per year, during which your contract payment will remain unchanged.<\/li>\n<li><b>Flexible start time for working hours<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 We understand that everyone has different schedules, so you can start your workday anytime before 12 PM CET\/CEST.<\/li>\n<li><b>Work setup<\/b> \u2014 We provide all the necessary tools and licenses for a comfortable and effective workflow.<\/li>\n<li><b>Streamlined processes<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 Only focused, purposeful meetings and clear workflows, so you can actually get things done.<\/li>\n<li><b>Growth and development<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 We encourage your professional journey by offering learning opportunities, mentorship, and space to take on new challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!-- notionvc: b242e080-2a90-4628-a933-7f20d3600922 -->Ready to join our team?<\/p>\n<p>Send your application to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@emlid.com\">hr@emlid.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- notionvc: 2b69d767-a2c7-459a-9b23-fd4e97bac443 --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Emlid, we make modern professional geodetic equipment for highly accurate measurements.
