We develop both hardware and software ourselves, and constantly communicate with our users to gather feedback that inspires us to enhance our products.<\/p>\n<p>Our team is united by a shared interest in research, deep engagement in tasks, and a collective drive for excellence \u2014 and we welcome those who share our values and approach to work.<\/p>\n<p>Now we\u2019re looking for a new <b>Embedded Linux Developer<\/b>\u00a0to join our team in Budapest.<\/p>\n<h3>In this role, you will:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work within the Linux kernel stack: configuration, modification, and development of drivers and device trees;<\/li>\n<li>Integrate and configure peripheral devices, including cameras and other sensors;<\/li>\n<li>Develop images for embedded devices based on Yocto;<\/li>\n<li>Develop using modern SoM\/SoC platforms with ARM architecture;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of C++ middleware;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the electronics engineering team and the testing engineer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Our tech stack:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>C\/C++, Python;<\/li>\n<li>Linux kernel and bootloaders (U-Boot, ARM Trusted Firmware);<\/li>\n<li>Yocto Project;<\/li>\n<li>GCC, CMake;<\/li>\n<li>systemd, D-Bus, Redis, udev, BlueZ, Mender.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Examples of tasks:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade the BSP and layers to the next Yocto LTS release;<\/li>\n<li>Move a board family to a new kernel version;<\/li>\n<li>Add support for a Wi-Fi\/BT chip: driver, device tree, firmware, and userspace integration;<\/li>\n<li>Debug an unreliable peripheral with a logic analyzer and an oscilloscope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in C\/C++ with at least 2-3 years of development experience;<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of Linux principles;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Yocto or Buildroot;<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ARM architecture;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of peripheral bus protocols (UART, I2C, SPI);<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in version control systems (Git);<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in both spoken and written English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Your advantage would be:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with camera integration and configuration in Linux (V4L2, Media Controller, CSI\/DSI interfaces);<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of video streaming (GStreamer, FFmpeg, RTP\/RTSP);<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read schematics and work with digital electronics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What we offer:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Private health insurance coverage\u00a0\u2014 We provide private health care insurance after the probation period, ensuring easy access to doctors and the care you need.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly public transport pass compensation\u00a0\u2014 We cover your commute expenses to make getting to work easy.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible start time for working hours\u00a0\u2014 We understand that everyone has different schedules, so you can start your workday anytime before 12 pm.<\/li>\n<li>Streamlined processes \u2014 Only focused, purposeful meetings and clear workflows, so you can actually get things done.<\/li>\n<li>Growth and development \u2014 We encourage your professional journey by offering learning opportunities, mentorship, and space to take on new challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Modern office\u00a0\u2014 A comfortable, hi-tech workspace near \u24c2\ufe0f G\u00f6ncz \u00c1rp\u00e1d v\u00e1rosk\u00f6zpont, fully equipped with everything you need to work at your best.<\/li>\n<li>Hungarian Lessons for Expats \u2014 To help you settle in and feel like a local, we\u2019ve got you covered with Hungarian language classes.<\/li>\n<li>Sport activities\u00a0\u2014 We organize yoga, football, and volleyball activities so you can relax and recharge.<\/li>\n<li>Team events \u2014 We work hard and celebrate together!
